A whole bunch more photos. We’ve collected photos from several wedding guests and are hoping to get more from at least three others. As more photos arrive, we’ll add them into this online album over at Shutterfly.

More Photos
More wedding photos arrived today! Our friends Em and Jason Varan mailed us a CD with all the shots they took while they were here, so now we have full candid shoots from both them and my brother. He left us everything he had on his camera before he went back home. The Em/Jason pics complemented Chris’ shots perfectly; Chris got plenty of good rehearsal dinner and reception shots, and the Varans got lots of good photos from the bridal getting-ready phase and the reception. Lots of gaps got filled in.
We’re going to end up putting all of these photos together on a Flickr or Shutterfly slideshow, before collecting all our wedding media onto a DVD-R to send to family and friends. But here’s a sample shot from the Varan series:

Before the ceremony, we had long photo shoots for both groomsfolk and the bridal party with our gleefully sadistic – and absolutely top notch – photographer Aaron Draper. This is a shot of him coaxing a beautiful (but uncomfortable, in a wedding dress on a 94F degree day) pose from Kristi during the bridal shoot. 🙂
SPECIAL REQUEST!
Were you at our wedding on the 5th? Did you have a digital camera with you?
We’re trying to contact any of our guests who might have taken their own wedding photos that day. We’d love to gather as many candid shots as possible from our rehearsal, wedding and reception, so that we can share the entire collection with our friends and family (not to mention keep them for ourselves).
If you have photos you don’t mind sharing, please either call/email us or leave a comment here on R&K. We’ll so totally be your best friends forever.
Wedding Lessons Learned
Are you contemplating a wedding of your own? Now that we’ve successfully managed to get legally bound without making public asses out of ourselves, we’d like to share a few looking-back lessons that we’ve learned from this whole process. We hope your wedding comes together as well as ours did!
Married
We just returned from our honeymoon a little while ago. Kristi’s out springing Tuck from the joint and I’m catching up on email/voicemail/etc. We’re both tired and ready to get back to life.
The wedding went beautifully – pretty much everything we wanted. I can’t honestly think of any way the day could have gone better. And we had a great honeymoon. Stay tuned here at R&K; Kristi’s got the next entry to give you guys more details and we also have plenty of photos. We also have a remodel to do here, since we really can’t call this our engagement blog anymore. 🙂
Special heartfelt thanks to everyone who came together to make our wedding and honeymoon such a tremendous success. We were both just utterly blown away by how wonderful the wedding was, as well as the amazing generosity of our families and friends. We were just happy that so many people were able to turn out for it.
Thank you everyone. More soon.
Ed. – we’re just starting to collect and sort through the photos. It’ll be a few weeks before we have them all, but we have a few early shots. This one is a video still from the ceremony itself.
