In case anyone was wondering.. the photo up top is Cocoa Beach, a beautiful beach on the east coast of Florida. The first time Kristi flew out to visit, we drove out to Cocoa in a thunderstorm and enjoyed a spectacular evening walking the surf under storm clouds and lightning. That particular stretch of sand (my favorite Florida beach) is about a mile south of where this photo was taken. We’ll be returning this Saturday night.

I wanted to thank everyone (especially the Jepsons and all at Trinity United) who made me feel warmly at home when I visited Modesto recently. I really enjoyed the trip, loved meeting everyone and I’m really looking forward to returning to stay in early December.

Also, while I was in California we met Aaron Draper at Draper Photography. He’s handling the ceremony/reception and engagement photo shoots. I love his work and Aaron himself struck me as a great guy – worth every penny.
