Okay, this really is the last post before we leave on our honeymoon.
The guys are here at the house playing video games, while the girls are at the Jepsons’ house doing their thing. Jason, Chris and I have a little bit of unwind time before we have to cart the tuxes over to the country club, set up the arch and take care of a few things for the reception. Then we’re back to video games for a few hours before going back around 2:30 to start photos. The wedding is at 5pm with the reception to follow.
I’ll admit to being a bit nervous, but I’m doing okay – at least I slept. Kristi was up until 4am, mainly because Veruca stayed up all night crying, trying to find me. I was at the hotel with Chris. So Kristi’s running on about three hours sleep.
This all has been a long road. Some days, it’s felt like we had to run an obstacle course to get to this point. But now it looks like we’re going to make it – the weather’s beautiful, everything’s lined up, and we’ve successfully dodged several bullets. Looks like we’re going to make this happen after all.
See you on the other side!
