Short entry today. Last one before the wedding and honeymoon, and then we’re back sometime after the 14th. I’m ducking in here real quick – the only time today we’ve been online – to do this entry and then shut down.
Rehearsal went off without a hitch, and the rehearsal dinner was fabulous – thirty or so people, a few from Florida but mainly Jepson/Taylor and friends. Wonderful food with homemade carrot cake and ice cream for dessert. Everyone had a great time.
Today we’re mainly packing for the honeymoon and unwinding with our out-of-town friends. This evening we all head back to the Jepsons’ home for a 4th of July BBQ. Then it’s back to the hotel and the go-go-go of tomorrow’s wedding.
Kristi and I are both excited and ready to go. The rehearsal just assured us that the wedding will be beautiful. Even better, the weather seems to be cooperating.
There were lots of pictures from the rehearsal and dinner, but right now we only have the first few. So the better pics will have to wait until we get back. In the meantime, here’s a shot from late in the party when everyone had gone home except for us, immediate family and the Florida crowd:
