My great aunt Janice died yesterday. We knew she was not doing well but I wasn’t really prepared to hear she’d passed. Our Sunday after-wedding brunch will be a bit of a memorial for her, as her kids don’t want to do a service. Sadness in the midst of all of this joy. The first of my grandfather’s siblings to die. She’s at rest now, with my aunts, my uncle, my great grandparents.

I am sorry to hear about her passing away. I am not sure you can ever be prepared for something like that. We just went through that with Tony’s mother.
