Holiday Adventure

Rob has never been to San Francisco, other than to the airport for a short lay over.  So on Saturday, I’ve booked us tickets for a bus tour of the city.  We’ll spend the day seeing all the famous sites and I won’t have to worry about driving!  It’s been ages since I spent any quality time in SF so it will be nice to play tourist for a while.  Three day weekends are always good for doing something different.  It beats cleaning house and hanging around Modesto any day.

I do find I get quite restless at this time of the year.  I’m not exactly sure why that is other than I get tired of the cold weather and start to get antsy for spring.  I also feel like the school year will not end.  In fact, this week feels like it won’t end. The days feel like they take 48 hours to finish and by the time I get home, there’s a million other things to do.  With errands, making dinner, laundry, walking the dog, school stuff, the business, church, there really aren’t that many hours in the day.  Never mind trying to plan a wedding, keep up with friends and my family. Needless to say, I’m tired.
