Monkey

God, I hate it when good animals are treated badly. What the hell are those people THINKING?

Monkey’s our neighborhood cat. She’s a super-sweet little calico, extremely friendly, always turning up where people are around and working the crowd. We’re pretty sure she belongs to one of our neighbors, but seriously, that cat should not be running around outside. Not with cars going by and the meth head’s kids running around and all the other stuff that can get a sweet little cat hurt or killed. And with the weather turning pretty cold and wet this week, that Monkey’s allowed to roam outside like this is just plain irresponsibility.

She turned up at our back door this morning, being super cute, peering through the kitchen door longingly, with that look that said, can I come in? It’s warm and there’s food in there and people who like kittehs. Please?

We’re going to round her up next time we see her. We probably can’t just kidnap her, but she at least deserves a warm and dry place to sleep.

..grumble grumble..
