It’s 63 degrees here this morning, nary an ounce of humidity in sight.

Just wanted to share. 🙂

Our winters really aren’t that bad. We get a few more cold days than you do, but we don’t get ice or snow really down here in the Central Valley; you have to go up into the mountains for that. Doesn’t get much colder here than it does in Orlando.. the big difference here is that winter is the rain season, so people are walking around in January wearing parkas that are half jackets, half raincoats. A fireplace goes a looonnnggg way on *those* nights.

Gimme that over the miserable 10-month Central Florida summer anyday. I love biking in a 75-degree afternoon in June.. or skipping over to Monterey or San Francisco when it’s occasionally 105 here, and enjoying a day in 65 degree Pacific breeze. It’s a kick ass tradeoff.
