And now you have that song stuck in your head. You’re welcome.
How can April be 2/3 of the way gone already? It seems like just last week we were reeling from Client Catastropher 2013. But now, here we are, still unsure of what will come but when are we ever promised anything more than today?
For the last couple of months, we’ve been attending a new church. It’s been an amazing blessing for both of us, a time to just heal the wounds from what we left behind. On a regular basis, I leave feeling refreshed and renewed. We have spent several nights discussing sermons, what we were challenged by and how we are responding. I don’t know that I’ve ever felt so encouraged leaving church and for the first time in my adult life, I’m feeling peaceful and fed at church.
Our families are doing well. My parents are working a plot in a community garden and they are going to the gym a few times a week. It’s amazing to see how great my dad is doing after his heart attack.
Obviously, we are the most awesome aunt and uncle out there because the BBQ we gave them for Christmas is a very popular backyard activity. They become more fun with each visit and if you don’t know my sister, just look at my niece. That is my sister, age 4. And my nephew? He’s my BIL, age 16 months. It’s scary and awesome how cute they are.
We leave on vacation next month and we cannot wait. We’re staying here:
23 days. 23 days.
